As Desmond Tutu once famously said: ‘There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

These are a list of local organisations run by passionate people who actively help young children suffering with mental illness.

Tommy’s Rainbow – Maidstone

Everyone needs someone to talk to, sadly there are some who do not have a support network and the effect of that can be huge. Our aim is to create projects that connect people and hope through our work to prevent further suicides by improving mental health by creating brighter futures. Tommys legacy will live though our work. The Maidstione based Organisation was set up Claire Fry, who lost her son Tommy to suicide at the age of 25.
